Christelle is a professional in Criminology and Criminal Justice currently focusing on the Law program at Carleton University in Ottawa. Before joining YSS Canada, Christelle has been involved in various community programs aiming at the well-being of children, youth, and the community in general. Christelle has served different entities including clinics, retirement homes, and private businesses with different capacities ensuring timely and quality services for all. Christelle joined YSS Canada with a strong passion for youth advocacy and criminal justice, where she believes everyone deserves a safe and peaceful community especially children and youth with special needs. With her commitment and expertise, Christelle has decided her efforts in making a positive impact in the YSS community.
Outside of her busy schedule, Christelle often finds herself at the gym, staying active and energized. Christelle is fluent in three languages - French, English, and Creole – allowing her to connect with and serve diverse communities. “I'm excited to continue learning and contributing to meaningful causes for my community” -Christelle Medor.
Susanne is a professional in Business Administration and Operations. As an operations Consultant, she has worked on transformation projects with provincial Canadian government organizations and is working this year towards making her employer future-ready from an operations standpoint.
Susanne values patience, understanding, and dignity in all her interactions and enjoys working with
diverse teams that harness the collective power of ideas. In the spirit of teamwork and psychological
safety, Susanne prioritizes creating and maintaining a safe space for others to share their perspectives and challenge the status quo. Susanne joined YSS Canada with skills and experience in seeking innovative solutions and purposeful designs that align with community needs and challenges.
Susanne holds a PDD in Business Administration, a PDD in Journalism & Communications, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Sierra is a health professional who joins YSS Canada with immense experience in both health and community engagements. With her passion for serving the community, Sierra currently holds executive positions in philanthropic clubs such as UOttawa MEDLIFE and For The Children where she manages sponsorships, fundraising events, and finances for the club.
Additionally, she currently serves as a medical assistant at a healthcare clinic, focusing on patient care while ensuring positive patient outcomes. Beyond her professional role, she actively engages with the local community, particularly working with children and individuals with disabilities through volunteering efforts.
Sierra is dedicated to promoting equal opportunity and fostering youth education. She advocates for inclusive environments and good mentorship, particularly for underrepresented communities, believing they empower individuals to thrive and fulfill their unique paths in life. Sierra is currently completing the Health Science Program at the University of Ottawa.

Lery is a dedicated professional with a robust background in media and communications, specializing in leadership. Having graduated from Trinity Western University with a major in Media and Communications, Leadership Stream, he honed his leadership skills as President of the Afro-Caribbean Club, fostering inclusivity and community engagement. Additionally, his commitment to personal and communal growth led him to consistently volunteer with different disciplines ensuring community development and empowerment.
With a strong passion for serving the community in need, Lery’s focus has been serving marginalized youth, particularly within the homeless sector across Ottawa. In his role at Haven Too Youth Shelter, he has played a pivotal role in providing support to homeless youth, ensuring smooth operational functions, and facilitating vital services. Lery joined YSS Canada with immense experience in community and social service that has equipped him with the ability to navigate challenges with empathy, efficiency, and a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact.
With a proven track record of leadership and a passion for serving the community, Lery is dedicated to leveraging his skills and experience to create meaningful change in the YSS community.
